I fell of the wagon but now I am back! I am loading up my store with new stuff so take a look. You may remember the artwork below? Well it has gotten me into a Canadian Magazine called Geist....more details to come. Plus the collage below is for sale and I will have it listed on my Etsy site soon. Vintage Buttons I AM ON THE HUNT!

You are feeling sleepy......you will go raid your grandma's pantry for vintage buttons...you will send them to me...

I am on the hunt! I do not have time to go to estate sales and flea markets, and ebay costs too damn much money! So....if you have buttons and want to make some cash contact me...I will probably give you some free jewelry as well. Tell your friends, or mom or grandma...will pay cash for buttons.

Here's the catch, they cannot be all white shirt buttons....that just makes crappy jewelry!

I love this necklace...I am tempted to keep it! It is actually a vintage buckle, button and lucite hoop.

A Finished Project! Felted Messenger Bag

I finally finished my messenger bag and I love it. The pattern is by Coco Knits. I actually finished knitting it about 3 months ago, but just never got around to felting it. I live in an apartment building and sitting up in the laundry room for several agitation cycles just did not appeal to me. Then my mother-in-law saved me....we went for a visit and she let me use her washer for my stinky wet wool! There was supposed to be a ROUND button on it that I was going to embroider the button holes on but....funny thing...it does not shrink proportionately....so I got an oval. So I made it look like a patch, added some french knots....and voila! I am HAPPY with the outcome. I am making more to sell right now!

New Promo Images...

SO I revamped my promo images...I was recently NOT accepted at the No Coast Craft-O-Rama (I was accepted last year and loved it). I am wondering if the fact that I sent in the same stuff I sent last year had anything to do with it....hmmm. I am so dumb!

I am back......

I have been on quite a hiatus! I started a new job and was working terrible hours....and really just did not feel like blogging! How lame of me.

I learned how to knit and like a lot of knitters, have a lot of projects started, but not many finished. However, I finished my first pair of socks.....Alpaca....I'm allergic to it. So my great friend Mindy got a great pair of $20 hand wash socks....

I am beginning to re-stock my store again, I had been just selling wholesale at a local boutique, but I am ready to jump back in to the mix again.

I've also been doing some embroidery, the one I am most proud of is of a family photo my 4 year old drew. I don't have any photos  of the finished embroidery version yet, but here is the original that inspired the thread version.

Here is one I did of a little snail for my mom for Mother's Day.

That's it for now, I hope to be posting on a regular basis....but life is crazy!

Out of Commission....and I NEED THESE!

OK! So....I have been gone for awhile and have probably lost all my readers (if there were any). I pinched my sciatica! No that's not a body part related to a sexual act...good thing! It is a nerve in your spine and it causes devastating, bang-your-head-against-the-wall....PAIN! I'm not f$*@#ing kidding, I seriously cried for two days straight...until I got some meds and then I just whimpered a little.

So, I still hurt, but have stopped banging my head against the wall. I have a show coming up on Dec. 1st and am now panicking.....EEK! That the fuck am I going to do to get everything ready in time? Maybe pick up a different drug habit like meth to get me through...kidding.

In the meantime.....I WANT THESE!

Oh, and I have a new job!
