Of decidedly inferior quality: base2, cheap, lousy, miserable, paltry, poor, rotten, shoddy, sleazy, trashy. Informalcheesy. Slangcrummy. Seegood/bad.
So my son has gone through many phases of made up words that he uses either as descriptive terms or names that he calls me. Right now is the "schlocky" phase, which as it turns out, is a real word. Consequently, I am a cheap mommy, lousy mommy, miserable mommy, paltry mommy, poor mommy, rotten mommy, shoddy mommy, sleazy mommy, trashy mommy, cheesy mommy and a crummy mommy. All of them have fit at one time or another.....I'm partial to "shoddy mommy" like when I allow him to watch tv all day and only eat Tater Tots and Fruit Roll-ups.
Other names we have been.......
Mom: smack dog (no idea, just came home from daycare one day with that one)... ok, wait to be continued, I can't think of them right now.
Mom is obi wan
Dad is obi wan 4.
Calvin is obi wan 4.
His future brother (no I'm not pregnant) is Fire boy.
For awhile when he was learning not to hit, he would tell me "No mommy, I'm not hitting, I'm just swaaaamping". My response "Oh, well that's different, carry-on".
Right now he is lying on the floor making up words and names.....if only this moment could last forever!
