I love fall! Something about the air gives me more energy. I could never leave Minnesota unless it was to someplace that still has fall.....no California for me! However, today it is almost 90 and raining, you can cut the air with a knife it is so humid. This is unusual though....

Last spring I was a vendor at the Craftstravaganza in St. Paul where I met fellow crafty chic Becky (which for some reason I keep typing Beckly...maybe she should change her name). Becky is the mastermind behind Small Motor Designs and creates the most fabulicious, one-of-a-kind, embroidered necklaces ever. We talked briefly about doing a trade and have been emailing back and forth ever since. I love her profile "Interests: embroidery, knitting, books, pens, beer, cupcakes".....how can you not love her! What's even funnier is that her tag line is "I make stuff". And of course mine is "I glue shit together". We are funny, funny girls.
Tonight I got an email from her with this picture attached.....
If this is not the coolest necklace you have ever seen, I'll eat Calvin's dirty socks (did you know that 4-year olds have REALLY stinky feet?).
Now the pressure is on....I am sending her pictures tomorrow of my unlisted crafty goods for her to choose some things from. I just hope my coolness can live up to hers....(bites nails)

I met this fabulous artist through Etsy (have I mentioned that I love Etsy). This is from her website "Currently edesse designs specializes in unique and conversation grabbing coffee tables, delicious notebooks, and dessert inspired erasers". Being a former pastry chef, I am in love with her erasers.
not too pink
I met Corrine Dean through indiepublic and fell in love with her art. She has an etsy shop called not too pink which features her fantabulous prints, buttons and plushies. I feel especially attached to the items below.....don't touch them, their MINE! tee hee
Did I mention that I love Etsy? It so totally rocks! I love the community feeling of it and chatting with other crafters. So I thought I would post some of my favorite things.
Love this great necklace from Precious Pups Shop. I think it is great that there are so many affordable items out there.
I also adore everything in Block Party Press' Shop and she's super nice to boot! She works with polymer clay but it looks like metal....very cool!
And for my all-time favorite (but never able to afford) from Pretty Lil Things Shop........
I love the art work from Green Chair Press, I think I might have to get the one below.
